At Battery Zone, we’re committed to offering you the best value.
If you find an identical product at a lower price from an eligible competitor, we’ll beat that price by 5%
– subject to the conditions below
Our Price Beat Guarantee (PBG) applies to both in-store and online purchases from Battery Zone.
Eligibility Criteria
To qualify for the Price Beat Guarantee, the competitor’s product must meet the following requirements:
- Identical Product: The product must be the same brand, model, and specifications, including identical manufacturer’s warranty terms and accessories included in the original packaging. Minor differences, such as promotional bundles, may disqualify the product at Battery Zone’s discretion.
- In Stock: The product must be in stock at both Battery Zone and the competitor at the time of the PBG claim.
- New Condition: The product must be brand new and not refurbished or second-hand.
- Valid Price: The competitor’s price must be current and available to the general public at the time of the claim. Expired promotions, future sales, or discontinued offers are not eligible.
- Eligible Competitor: The competitor must be a reputable Australian retailer with a physical or registered business presence in Australia. Marketplace sellers (e.g., eBay, Amazon Marketplace), auction sites, or private sellers are not considered eligible competitors.
Exclusions
The following are not eligible for the Price Beat Guarantee:
- Freight Charges and Roadside Service: These costs are not included in the price comparison.
- Gift Cards: Purchases involving gift cards do not qualify.
- Cashback and Coupon Offers: Prices reduced through supplier cashbacks, paper coupons, or electronic codewords are excluded.
- Commercial Quantities and Pricing: Bulk purchases for business or resale, or discounts not available to the general public (e.g., Apple Reseller Education pricing), are not eligible.
- Stock Liquidations: Products sold as part of a competitor’s clearance or by a business in receivership do not qualify.
- Temporary Promotions: Flash sales, limited-time deals, or event-specific discounts (e.g., Black Friday, Boxing Day) are excluded.
- Excessive Quantities: Battery Zone reserves the right to limit sales to reasonable retail quantities, typically one or two units per customer for personal use.
Online Stores
Our Price Beat Guarantee includes products offered by eligible Australian online retailers, provided the item is identical and in stock. When assessing PBG claims for online stores:
- The total price includes the competitor’s product price plus the standard delivery cost to your location. Express or premium delivery options will not be considered unless they are the only available option.
- If the identical, in-stock product can be purchased and delivered to your location via an online store for a total price lower than Battery Zone’s price, we will beat that total price by 5%.
How to Submit a PBG Claim
To claim the Price Beat Guarantee:
- Provide verifiable evidence of the competitor’s price, such as a current website screenshot, advertisement, or written quote, showing the identical product, price, stock availability, and delivery cost (if applicable).
- Submit your claim in-store or, for online purchases, contact our customer service team at 1300 429663.
- Battery Zone reserves the right to verify the competitor’s offer directly with the retailer.
Dispute Resolution
If a PBG claim is disputed, Battery Zone staff will review the provided evidence and may contact the competitor to verify the offer.
Final decisions rest with Battery Zone management.
