REDARC’s BCDC Core 40A DC to DC In-Cabin Battery Charger is the next evolution of the legendary BCDC platform that has been powering off-grid adventures for over 10 years.
The BCDC Core is the perfect DC to DC charging solution for in-cabin, canopy, or battery box setups where dust and weatherproofing isn’t required. Each BCDC Core features REDARC’s tried and tested dual input DC charging tech plus an MPPT solar regulator and Green Power Priority all in the familiar and compact BCDC form factor. These features allow the BCDC Core to efficiently charge from both the alternator and solar simultaneously, ensuring maximum charge capacity no matter the situation.

Max Charge Efficiency
The BCDC Core features a Maximum Power Point Tracking (MPPT) solar regulator and ‘Green Power Priority’. With these features the BCDC Core will charge from both solar and the alternator simultaneously, maximising its charge rate and minimising the load on your alternator, saving fuel.
Compact & Silent
With no loud fans or relays and a small form factor, the BCDC Core can be tucked away, leaving room in the cabin for more important things. Don’t ruin the look of your interior with bulky electronics. Hide it under the rear floor, behind a side panel or under the seats and make your power set up look like it was meant to be there. Â
Lithium Ready
With chemistry specific charging profiles, including lithium the BCDC Core ensures your batteries are ready for your next adventure. The award-winning technology in the BCDC Core has been independently verified and tested to ensure battery life is maximised, charging your battery to a proven 100%.*
As a guide the BCDC Core 40A is typically used for lead acid battery banks over 200Ah and lithium batteries over 100Ah. Check the manufacturer’s data for your battery and ensure that the ‘Continuous Current Rating’ of the charger does not exceed the manufacturer’s recommended maximum charging current. For smaller batteries, REDARC recommends the BCDC Core 25A.Â
*Large capacity battery banks may require a few cycles to fully charge.

Shipping, Delivery & Returns Policy
Delivery Times
Delivery is available during store business hours, Monday to Friday. Delivery on Saturday is at the discretion of the store and their availability. Delivery is not available on Sundays and Public Holidays.
Delivery Restrictions
For both options, delivery is only guaranteed within a 15km radius of the store the product is being purchased from. If you are outside of this 15km radius, your purchase may still be delivered but may incur an additional charge, however this will be discussed with you by Battery Zone after your purchase to arrange and also discuss a suitable time for delivery. Delivery is only available within Australia. You or a person nominated on your order must be available to receive and sign for the delivery. For security reasons deliveries cannot be left unattended and unsigned for.
Unable to Deliver
Every effort will be made to ensure your order will be delivered in line with your delivery preference of either the same or the next day. However, there may be an occasion where delivery is unavailable as the item(s) is out of stock or due to other unforeseen circumstances. If this happens, you will be contacted to discuss the updated estimated time of delivery, or be offered an alternative suitable product, this may require an additional charge which will be discussed at the time.
Canceling Your Order
If at any time you want to cancel an order due to the product being on backorder or you have purchased the wrong product, please contact the Battery Zone the order was made from.
Refunds
All refund rights under both State and Commonwealth law apply.
Battery Zone products come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and failure does not amount to a major failure.

Due to IATA and individual airline regulations, this item may only be shipped by surface (road/sea) freight.
